“Contractor Antonelli Construction did a lot of work on the project, working hand-in-hand with Austin Design, Dueck said, and the cooperation of the two companies on site helped solve little issues that arose in the renovation.
“It’s better when it happens like that,” Mike Lapomardo Jr. of Antonelli Construction said of the cooperation between his firm and Austin Design and Kevin O’Neil of that firm.
Given everything was so old, with so many unknowns, they focused on “trying to make it work,” Lapomardo said, with O’Neil noting the challenge of “all unknown conditions” once the walls are opened up.
