Where we love is home—home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts. —Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
Designing a home is a nearly sacred commitment to a client. This is the place where your life will happen and it's a large investment—in time, energy, and money. So we start by listening and asking questions that help us understand who you are, what you envision, how you understand this project, and why you are creating this space—a frame that informs us throughout the project. Regardless of which architect you work with, remember that they should act as midwives to your vision.
What would you say to somebody on the fence about hiring Austin Design?
I really feel that they are incredible, I would absolutely go with them again. It was fun, educational, inspiring, and you get to meet some really wonderful folks.
They really wanted to know what I wanted, and helped me translate it into the language of architecture and building. They were instrumental in helping me refine my vision for the project.
